Classes for Adults

• On Camera for Commercials
  Rodney Robb
  Monday evenings, 3 hours
  Learn how to deliver real commercial copy to the camera in a fun and convincing manner. Includes work with one liners, and both single and doubles copy. Learn teleprompter and cue card techniques.

• Principles of Acting
  Drucie McDaniel
  Tuesday evenings, 3 hours
  Learn the basics of acting in a safe and comfortable environment from one of the area's most respected drama teachers.

• Voice Over
  Rodney Robb
  Wednesday evenings, 3 hours
  Want to be an excellent actor even when nobody can see you? Learn how to use your voice to deliver commercial copy, perform narration, and dub. Practice with single and doubles copy.

Classes for Kids and School-Age Teens

• All-Around Acting
  Saturdays, 10:00am-2:00pm during the school year
  For students 8-18, this class is a general study of acting, improvisation, on camera, voice over, movement, and music theater. Young people learn confidence and poise, and they have a lot of fun as they learn!

• Summer Day Camp
  Monday-Thursday, 10:00am-3:00pm for six weeks
  Summer is when The Actors Center has a six-week day camp. We offer a more intensive version of our Saturday classes, but we also bring in several unique specialists who demonstrate such techniques as:
  • Acting for Stage and Film
  • Improvisation
  • On Camera for Commercials
  • Voice Over
  • Stage Combat
